We have had our CWT table for a year now. It has not had any issues. It has been the best purchase we have made for the production area and the first thing I would purchase if we started over.
Ours has a clear rubber mat over glass. I agree that brighter LEDs would be better but only when we layer reverse mounted prints on 2nd surface of acrylic/polycarbonate sheets. We can turn off the production area lights and eliminate this issue.
I looked at all the available manufacturers and preferred the CWT setup. The biggest difference between the Rolls Roller and the CWT was the gantry over the roller present on the Rolls Roller. I prefer not having the gantry as I believe it could be a hindrance when flipping material across the roller.
The unit came shipped in pieces. This was a plus due to getting the unit into our production area. We paid for the unit to be delivered and assembled. I would highly recommend paying for this service as it was worth every cent.
After paying for the shipping and assembly, the CWT price came up to the same as the Rolls Roller.

When you run a print shop you need a printer, laminator and roll after roll of material, then you need that little something special over there in the corner. We call it a Flatbed Applicator, and you’ll be calling it your new best friend. Here’s 10 reasons you need one this Christmas!
Imagine being able to keep on top of the admin whilst your apprentice gets to work on those dibond site boards. Well, with a flatbed applicator you can do exactly that, and have the peace of mind that only comes from knowing the first job will be just as good as the last.
When you feel like giving your apprentice a rest and doing a bit of work yourself, you’ll only need the one hand to do it. Just position the print and push the roller back and forth and your flatbed will take care of the rest. Perfect.
Wrinkles, creases, misalignments, they’re all things of the past when you have a perfectly flat surface to work from. You might think it takes a little bit of the fun and skill out of things, but who wants to work any harder than you have to when there’s a machine that can take care of everything for you?
Because your new roller will apply uniform pressure from the moment it touches down, you’ll be able to sleep easy knowing there won’t be a bubble in sight when your customers stand back and admire your handiwork.

If you need a thick board for an exhibition or conference, it used to take hours to find a suitable piece of equipment. Now you’ll have one ready and waiting in your print shop whenever you need it.
Who wants a one trick pony that takes up floor space? Not us, which is why we always opt for a flatbed. They’re versatile, flexible, and when you see what they can do you won’t care how much floorspace is used.
Okay, so it’s going to use up some floorspace, but when you factor in the huge flexibility, not to mention the upturn in your throughput, it’s clear you have a real workhorse on your hands. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of the print shop world.
Keeping everything lined up can be enough to keep you awake at night, which is another reason to wish for a flatbed this Christmas. It’ll feel like child’s play as you take care of a job you used to dread in seconds.
Glass panels, super flexible substrates, and any of those other delightful options your customers ask for can cause you real headaches with a conventional upright laminator. But with a flatbed everything is so quick and easy you’ll wonder what all the fuss was about. Ideal if you want to offer a whole host of new services to your customers.
We might be a little biased, but there are hundreds of print shops out there that will tell you it felt like Christmas came early when their Mounter’s Mate kit arrived onsite.
If you want to join them, shop our range today, or get in touch with an expert to ask anything you need to know.
