Every time I walked into my Indian School of Business classroom, I felt privileged. I wondered what if I couldn't have arranged the funds or couldn't have cleared #GMAT. So many other things could have terribly gone wrong too. An #MBA from ISB gave me the privilege of a lifetime- I was walking where India's top leaders walked once. ISB was started in 2000 when the business education sector was ripe for a private player to enter, disrupt, and innovate, with the effect of creating a world-class institution. And I owe a great deal of my career credit to ISB today. But in 2019, Naman and I realized that no further innovation has happened post-ISB in the business education sector. It was then, that we discussed how we can deliver global business education which was- 1. Completely practical, 2. Fast paced, 3. Struggled with left brain exams such as CAT, GMAT 4. International, and 5. Convenient to the new Indian middle class at 1% of the cost of an MBA. The Middle Class either couldn't afford top international MBAs or left their full-time jobs to educate themselves. Frankly, we wouldn't have been able to launch the Global Governance Initiative (link in comment) without the extraordinary help we received from many top CEOs, Partners from McKinsey & Company, BlackRock, BCG, Amazon, and institutions including ISB itself. As we look back at our 3.5 years of the journey today and celebrate our small laurels where Economic Times, Modern Diplomacy, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), etc. covered us, we are excited about so many interesting ideas we have to further the impact we have had. As India got its business education it deserved in 2000 via ISB. We are giving India the business education it needs at GGI in 2020s❤️.
