It is that time of year when we all start pulling out the candles, and while it’s fine to just set them in a plain old crystal candle-holder, why not get creative? We have a bunch of great tutorials on DIY candle holder projects for you. Use them for the holidays, for your dinner table, or to decorate your mantels and tables with. Bring on the glow of candle season!(And that’s any season!)

How to Make Candle Holders

‘Tea Beyond’ used clear coffee cups and saucers (dollar tree!) to create super fast and easy votive candle holders.

The Excited Bride (no, you don’t have to be planning a wedding to use this idea!) has this great idea for candle holders made from doilies. Easy project, and romantic look! Use Mod Podge or white glue, and brush onto the doily over a blown up balloon. Allow to dry thoroughly, and then pop and remove the balloon. Pop in a votive candle and let it glow! Done!

The Special Mom’s World has these great DIY candle holders made with nothing but a few rubber bands and some spray paint. You could use frosted paint for a cool everyday effect, or metallic  for the holidays.

Monsters Circus has a very cool tutorial on concrete votive DIY candle holders, and we LOVE these. When you go to the tutorial, English instructions are below each paragraph…

Four Generations has a great idea for using rope to make ordinary hurricanes look a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Check out the full instructions for this DIY candle holder. Awesome coastal style look.

Finally we have these really fun balloon luminaries from ‘Candletech’. These look so ethereal and elegant, yet updated and modern at the same time. And, they look like a lot of fun to make as well. Good host presents?
