Treatment of Cyanide


The first step of cyanide removal furnace is to treat cyanide. Methods for treating cyanide include oxidation, precipitation, adsorption and so on. Through these methods, cyanide is converted into a more stable compound for the next step of destruction treatment.

 

Destruction of cyanide

 

The treated cyanide is fed into the second step of the cyanide removal furnace, the direct destruction step. In this step, the cyanide is destroyed under high temperatures and pressures and converted to a harmless substance. This step is usually carried out at high temperatures and pressures, which is why cyanide removal furnaces are also known as high pressure, high temperature cyanide breakers.

 

Post-treatment

 

The third step of the radon removal furnace is post-treatment. Although cyanide has been broken down into harmless substances in the first two steps, some harmful gases will still be produced during the treatment process. These gases need to be post-treated to prevent them from causing harm to the environment. The methods of post-treatment include adsorption, oxidation and catalytic methods.
