1. What is a lowbed semi trailer?

2. Three types of low bed semi-trailer:
There are three types of low bed semi trailer frames: flat, gooseneck and recessed beam.

Also known as a gooseneck lowboy trailer. The semi-trailer frame has a stepped shape, and the plane of the cargo platform is behind the gooseneck, so that the main plane of the cargo platform is lowered, which is convenient for loading and unloading and transportation of goods. Our split gooseneck semi-trailer has a detachable gooseneck design on the front, which avoids overturning the body when transporting heavy equipment and ensures the safety of the vehicle and the driver.
Concave beam type:
The plane of the cargo platform is concave and has the lowest load-bearing plane. It is generally suitable for transporting large or ultra-high equipment.
3. Maintenance knowledge about heavy transport lowbed trailers:
(1) Visually check that there is no lack of gas and foreign matter adhesion, and then check whether the steel ring is deformed or cracked.
(2) Pay attention to the suspension system of the low loader semi trailer and see the tightness of all the nuts and bolts and U-bolts. This is all about whether the tires are eaten. Otherwise, if there is a problem, it will be troublesome.
(3) Shake the outriggers to make sure they are normal. Check the outriggers and shake them a few times to see if there are any cracks in the welds. Especially the riders who are now running and hanging must pay attention to this problem.
(4) Feel the wear of the moving parts, reach out and touch the small parts such as box hinges, box hooks, cuttings, container locks, etc. to see if there are any cracks and breaks. Just look at the touch, do n’t be abnormal, just turn on the car and see if there are any bad lights. There is no shortage of reflective signs. I believe there must have been a penalty on the road for defective reflective signs.
(5) The regular maintenance of the engine is very important. Many professional maintenance masters said that among the low loader semi trailer they repaired, the failures caused by poor engine maintenance accounted for 50% of the total failures.
(6) The brake hoses and hydraulic hoses must be checked frequently for rubber aging and replaced as soon as they are found.
4. What is the main advantage of a low bed trailer over a flat bed?
The difference between the flat bed and low bed trailer is mainly on the working platform and the usage. The low bed trailer is a kind of machinery transport use trailer with a much lower working platform, with a high range of 400mm to 1200 mm which is also called the lowbed trailer, lowboy trailer, machinery transport trailer, equipment transport trailer, etc. The high of the working platform for low bed trailer price usually depends on the loading capacity and the equipment that will be transported.
