Burrs and rough areas. Spent about 45 minutes with a couple fine files smoothing areas where burrs were snagging my hands and clothing as I used the clamps. Check the screw heads for burrs. Check the non clamping end for burrs, really not good there. The spring pin at the non clamping end of the bar is terribly rough and will cut you.
The plastic trigger had protrusions that snagged my finger on two of the four clamps. Other areas of the plastic surface had protrusions that I had to file off.
After the finish work I did on them, they seemed much better, but the quality of the finish work on the outside makes me suspect of the detail work on the inner workings.
